Project BRIMS (Barangay Resident Information Management System) is a secure, web-based platform developed for the EMBO Barangays in Taguig City to centralize and manage resident records. It is designed to improve the efficiency of barangay services by digitizing resident profiling, document requests, incident reporting, and administrative processes. The system was developed as a Capstone Project by fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology students from the University of Makati – College of Computing and Information Sciences (UMAK-CCIS).
The system integrates security features such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), encryption, activity logging, and data backup to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of resident information.
Overall, Project BRIMS aims to modernize barangay operations by providing a reliable, organized, and secure solution that enhances transparency, accountability, and service delivery.
